Barry Golden is an Educational Paradigm Specialist for ISN. He has had a presence in Wisconsin K-12 education for over 35 years. His experience includes teaching, serving as an administrator of special education, and Director of Instruction over a 20 year period. He started his own K-12 educational technology company and had a significant impact on the evolution of networked technology use from 1989-2003. He has stated “the first 30 years was the training ground” for his 6 years as a charter school consultant for the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. His passion is helping create new and innovative schools. He and his colleagues are focused, not on school reform, but school transformation, one school at a time.
